Angela Chang (simplified Chinese: 张韶涵; traditional Chinese: 張韶涵; pinyin: Zhāng Shàohán, born on January 19, 1982) is a Taiwanese pop singer and actress.

Biography
Angela Chang was born in Taiwan. Her family emigrated to Canada when she was 12. Chang is the eldest child in her family and has a sister and a brother. She is three quarters Han Chinese and one-quarter Uyghur.
She attended many singing contests when she lived in Canada. At the "Rothenacker Village Festival" singing contest "BBC Star," Chang won first place by singing Chang Yu-sheng's popular song "The Days Without Smoking (没有抽煙的日子)". She was offered the chance to go to Taiwan for the final, which she did not attend due to school commitments.
Chang started her career after she graduated from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in 2000. She became popular after starring in the TV series My MVP Valentine.
Her first language is Mandarin Chinese, but she is also fluent in English.
In 2007, she has finished filming Romantic Princess with Wu Zun, Calvin Chen and George Hu. She also worked as a spokesperson for Shiatzy Chen

Angela Zhang is one of Taiwan most popular young artists. Angela is recognized as both a talented singer and actress, and is famous in China and rest of Asia as well.
Angela Zhang was born in Taiwan but moved to Canada at age of 12.
Angela Zhang love singing since she was a kid and took part in lots of singing competitions. She got her breakthrough when she won an international Chinese singing competition in Taiwan, representing Vancouver.

Angela’s talent was spotted by a Taiwanese music producer; she signed a contract and was trained to become a future superstar back in Taiwan.
Ironic though, Angela didn’t start her entertainment career in singing despite her talent; she started her career acting in TV drama instead, making her debut in MVP Valentine in 2002.
MVP Valentine was quite a hit, and made Angela one of the hottest rising stars in Taiwan.
Angela Zhang continued acting in TV drama At the Dolphin Bay in 2003. Angela sang one of the theme songs, Journey, and her singing talent was finally reviewed to her fans and public.
As expected Angela released her debut album in early 2004, Over the Rainbow. Her powerful and unique voice made the album an instant hit.

Angela Zhang released another 3 albums to date, Aurora in late 2004, Pandora in 2006, and Flower in the Wonderland in 2007.
Angela Zhang still continues acting in between her music career, including the acclaimed Bump Off 17 in 2006, which won a nomination for Taiwan prestigious Golden Bell Awards.
