Lekha Washington born on April 30, 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India is an Indian film actress and model, who has appeared in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu films and Kannada language films. After appearing as a video jockey with SS Music, Lekha's breakthrough film role was as an independent estranged sister in Jayamkondaan (2008), whilst she has gone on to portray roles in the multi-starrer Vedam and the comedy Va.

Lekha Washington was born April 30, 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India to a father of mixed Burmese, Italian and Punjabi ancestry, Kenneth, and a Maharashtrian mother. Despite the mixed heritage, Lekha has stated she considers herself South Indian due to her upbringing and speaks English and Marathi at home.

Lekha pursued a degree in Fine Arts at Stella Maris College, Chennai and went on to attend the National Institute of Design taking courses in first, Lifestyle Product Design, and then re-applying to enrol in the Film and Video Communication course. During her time studying film-making, she opted that she preferred a career in "front of the camera, rather than from behind".During her time on the course, she made three short films called Spoonerism, Catch 22 and Sunn with locations ranging from Myanmar to Mauritius.

She later made a guest appearance in director Jeeva's 2007 film Unnale Unnale as a bride at a wedding. In November 2007, Lekha signed on to play a supporting role in R. Kannan's directorial debut Jayamkondaan alongside Vinay Rai and Bhavana Menon. Appearing as Vinay Rai's estranged step-sister, Brindha, in the film, Lekha won critical acclaim for her role with a reviewer citing that she "sparkles as the half sister in a well etched role" and is "the surprise packet and has the credentials to make it big". Another critics cited that Lekha "pulls off with élan" and "her costume spells class and character as does her performance", and subsequently the film went on to become a critical and commercial success.

In 2010, Lekha appeared in three films in three regional languages. Her first release was in the multi-starrer Vedam, where she played a role as a part of the troupe of a lead character, Manoj Manchu. Charmy Kaur born 17 May 1983 is an Indian film actress, who has predominantly appeared in Telugu films. She acted with stars such as Venkatesh, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Jr. NTR, Prabhas, Siddarth, Ravi Teja, Sumanth, Nitin and Dileep.

Charmy was born in Mumbai, India and her family is of Punjabi background. She studied in Carmelite Convent English High School in Vasai.

She made her acting debut in the 2002 Telugu film Nee Thodu Kaavali, in which she acted as a housewife at a mere age of 15.[3] This film was a flop, but helped Charmme in getting noticed by the south Indian film industry. Her next film was Kadhal Azhavatillai with Silambarasan, which was also a flop. During this time she acted in a Malayalam film directed by Vinayan named Kattuchembakam. This film also bombed in box office. After that she acted in a couple more Tamil films but they bombed at the box office.

Her re-entry to Telugu movies happened with a film with Sreekanth which was a failure; then in Sri Anjaneyam, directed by ace director Krishna Vamsi which too was a failed attempt. It was followed by another failure with Chanti, paired against Ravi Teja. She finally got a big break in Telugu with Gowri in which she was paired with Sumanth. She didn't have to look back afterwards. The stupendous success of Mass with Nagarjuna strengthened her position in Tollywood. In 2006 she acted in Pournami which was a total failure in spite of high expectations, but her performance was appreciated.
