Happy Friday everyone! Thanks for following the construction of my virtual home this week. I'm taking off early on building it, but thought I would share another fantastic and eclectic home that will inspire. I'll be back to work on my own place next week. (I'm giving myself a three day weekend!) What I most love about this home is the way the family lives with art. Even the young children are taught to care and appreciate it. Personally, I feel its important to have a creative home for kids to grow up in.

This morning I was greeted by these sweet illustrations in my email. Artist Alice Dufay captures little moments with great simplicity. They can be found on L'affiche Moderne which is a great site for limited edition prints.
This is a little last minute, but I wanted to let you know about a great art show in Sugarland. 25 local artists will be showing their work, which ranges from sculpture to photography. I actually saw a sneak peek yesterday and found some pretty cool stuff. The event will be sponsored by a group called Amplify|Sugarland. Their goal is to "Strengthen a local culture of inspiration", by providing more opportunities for artists to show their work. So I hope many of you will support them:) The show will be tomorrow evening (Oct. 15) from 6-10pm.
